"Feed The Hungry"
This is a MOBILE street ministry. Many of the people served by this ministry are not even welcome in the skid road soup kitchens. We have been told by these poor hungry people, "I have not eaten in two days" and "You are saving lives down here". Bible Studies - Baptizing - Street Ministry
Transforming major life challenges!
Jennifer Scott, MA, ADTR, RCC, is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, offering counselling and psychotherapy for individuals and families. With more than 20 years experience as a social worker and counsellor, Jennifer is skilled in helping people transform major life challenges into opportunities for change, growth, and connection. Working with the major symptoms and feelings underlying addictions - such as stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, sleep disturbance, PTSD, relationship issues, grief & loss, abuse & rape, and so on – she helps her clients access their own (often hidden) resources to promote healing and transformation in their journey towards wholeness, authenticity, and genuine positive relationships. While relationships are often at the core of life challenges, they are also an important agent of change. Thus a caring, non-judgmental and compassionate therapeutic relationship is an essential component of Jennifer’s counselling style. She presently has a private practice with offices in West Vancouver serving adults in: West and North Vancouver, Burnaby, Bowen Island, and Squamish.

Healing the broken-hearted
At Bountyfull, we commit ourselves to a journey with people who have come to realize they are powerless and are ready and willing to seek help.  At the core of this approach are the "Bountyfull Principles for Living" which focus on feelings and unconditional self-acceptance.

In an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding, the counsellor walks with the individual through their life story, where the hidden roots of pain and brokenness are unearthed. Individuals often begin to recognize various forms of dependancy to which they have given over their power, in an attempt to 'feel better'. The dependency may be on drugs, gambling, food, alcohol, rage, sex, relationships, counsellors .... the list goes on.

At Kathleen Landry and Associates, an intervention is the loving process into a troubled person's life to help motivate them to change and seek help. It is a process that begins long before the troubled person is even spoken to and continues long after the person seeks help. It involves the caring support of the troubled person's closest friends, family and business associates. It is a process that brings the person's "bottom up" rather than waiting for the person to "sink to the bottom"

“It’s all about change”

“Let us be with you on the road back”
“Let us be with you on the road back” is our tag line for StreetHope Abbotsford. Those who are saved from the street know what they need to keep going and be successful in their restoration. Restoring and transforming one life at a time is what StreetHope is all about. Show you care for people and people will be transformed. We can only give from the abundance that the Lord gives to us. StreetHope and Church Army have said YES to meeting people where they are. Jesus has met us where we were all at and has given us the tools and abundance of gifts to get the Word out. God is alive and well living in the hearts of those who serve the poor and needy in the streets of Abbotsford. “Relationship is what it is all about!”
“Go for souls, and go for the most lost”
That is what the founder of Church Army suggested over 100 years ago.  Streethope.org is a continuation of a ministry in Victoria, B.C. which has been following that advice since 1986.We love to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ but for those who are allergic to Christians we simply share His love in ways that are meaningful.  That can mean providing food or shelter or just some understanding.  If you would like to talk to us, we would be glad to hear from you.
