This Program offers courses in advanced curriculum development and on-site support for the implementation of negotiated curriculum with young children in licensed group care for students who already have their ECCE certification.

Our volunteer-based mentoring programs provide one-to-one volunteers to help children and youth make positive choices. We focus on building relationships with appropriate adult role models, and provide a variety of recreational and educational community supports.

We believe in empowering individuals to become contributing members of Canada by providing orientation, training and other programs that will help them enter the workforce. We especially assist those who are disadvantaged because of language barriers, income, or circumstances beyond their control.

The PIBC Mentoring Program is designed to serve the UBC SFU and UNBC planning programs, as well as PIBC provisional members and planners new to the province who are seeking PIBC membership. The program is designed to make it a more valuable experience for both the students/provisional members and the mentors. The aim is to provide students/provisional members with a means to seek advice and guidance from practicing professionals whose skills and experience match students/provisional members' areas of interest.
