Have courage for the great sorrows of life
and patience for the small ones;
and when you have laboriously
accomplished your daily task,
go to sleep in peace.
God is awake.

“Tell them I Love them”
A Catholic street ministry focusing on the downtown eastside area, have reached out specifically to the prostitutes – the “working women of the street”. Through encounters with Agape Street Ministries, they learn that Jesus loves them, and that He is the Way, and the Truth and the Life.
“An opportunity to explore the meaning of life”
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The Alpha course includes ten meals and an amazing weekend getaway that comes halfway through the 10-week course. The course meets once per week.
Each session people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life and God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like—Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
What will it cost?
The Alpha course is tuition free.
A small contribution may be requested for the meals and for the weekend getaway.
“Evangelism will not work apart from persistent prayer that prepares hearts to hear and receive the Gospel.”
Our mandate in Canada is to support Billy Graham in his calling to spread the Gospel of Christ to all we can, using every prudent means available to us. This includes evangelism through Crusades, TV telecasts, radio programs, movies, the Internet, and “Schools of Evangelism”.
About Us:
B'nai Brith Canada is the action arm of the Jewish community. We believe in:
  1. Reaching out to those in need;
  2. Fighting anti-Semitism, racism and bigotry;
  3. Promoting human rights and peace throughout the world.
We do this through a wide range of activities, both at the national and local level.
Are you ready to help change the world?
About Us: From a clear calling given to one man to a movement active around the globe, Campus Crusade for Christ has stayed on the same journey—to glorify God by helping fulfill the Great Commission. In the past five decades, this vision has spawned various ministries that have forged new ways to spread the gospel message, build people in faith and send people out to be God’s witnesses. Our work has also strengthened ties with churches, organizations and individuals for one common purpose. To take Jesus to the world.

Our Purpose
The purpose of Canadian Baptist Ministries is "to unite, encourage and enable Canadian Baptist churches in their national and international endeavours to fulfill the commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, proclaiming the gospel and showing the love of God to all peoples." The supreme business of the church is to make known the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people, in response to the commission of our Lord (Matthew 28:16-20.) No believer is exempt from this service, wherever he or she may live.
"Sowing God's Word That Lives May be Changed"
The Canadian Bible Society has a vision to reach every person with the life-giving Word of God, and encourage its use. We work toward that goal, because we know that the Bible has the power to change hearts and lives.
"Ministering to Christian Donors, Ministries and Churches"
CCCC is an association, primarily of charities, within the evangelical Christian community. Its purpose is to integrate spiritual concerns of ministry with practical aspects of management, stewardship and accountability.
A Christ-based recovery program created and maintained by Rick Warren'sSaddleback Church in California and has spread successfully throughout much of the world. It is presently available through a number of churches in Vancouver. In order to start a program in your area simply contact Rick
Our Mission: To increase the real and visible presence of Jesus within the city of Vancouver
To instill a vision of leadership centered in Jesus Christ, which has a deep commitment to our families, a few friends and then naturally extends to our places of work, the local community, Province, Country and the World.
Like most Canadians, we are passionate about the family. We are a charitable organization, built on Christian principles, which supports, encourages and strengthens the family through education and resources. Extensive research shows that parents and families can be a vital factor in keeping children from becoming involved with the harmful use of drugs, including alcohol. Better-informed parents communicate more effectively, and knowledge of available resources puts parents in a position to significantly reduce the risks. "Our vision is based on the foundational teachings of Jesus Christ: love for God and love for our neighbours."
Connecting Christian Nationals Worldwide
The IN Network connects Christian partners in the developed and developing world in evangelism, discipleship and community development. IN is convinced the most effective way to reach the world for the Lord Jesus Christ is through Christians in their own countries.
"Being hands of care in the heart of the island"
"A non profit organization dedicated to providing shelter and care for those in need, reflecting the love of God in loving one another."
Offering Hope, Care and Compassion
Mission Possible is an Urban Ministry of the Church of the Nazarene. The mission provides various services to the poor and needy in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, BC - Canada's poorest neighbourhood.
Building hope for children, brick by brick
magine... being seven years old and knowing you are doomed to subsistence living forever, just like your parents and grandparents because none of you can read or write. WE SEEK TO CHANGE ALL THAT! We wish to support the completion of a school in Busabaga, a remote village in Uganda by helping them find ways to make this school a reality and self-sufficient. The wait list is long and they need our help. For more…
"Partnering to build a stronger church around the world."
Purpose: Dedicated to facilitating Christian leadership development in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Latin America, and the Middle East through student and faculty scholarships, campus and library development projects, and consultation and expertise. We do this by connecting Canadian resources with over 100 partner programs and schools in 50 countries.
Partners in Hope is a Christian based community group offering support to victims of harmful circumstances and dependencies as they reclaim the gift of their life. Programs focus on building healing relationships with a loving God, with other people, and with oneself that nurture life and respect for all.
Our Purpose
At Potter’s Place our mission is to visually, tangibly and measurably transform the downtown eastside (East Hastings Street) through the power of God. That is, to see the street people come out of their present situation of hopelessness and loss of self-worth, as evidence by their poverty, continual welfare dependency, involvement in substance abuse and addiction, prostitution and high suicidal tendencies, and have their lives restored to the gory of God.
"To show God's love in Christ by working in partnership with the church, community and those in need so that together we achieve wholeness."
The Mustard Seed Street Church began from a prayer closet in a store on Government Street in Victoria. The need of the underprivileged was so great that the ministry expanded to a building on Pandora Avenue. It began its outreach to the community as a church which soon grew to include a food bank, clothing bank, counseling and advocacy service, prison visitation and street ministry
Union Gospel Mission is committed to caring for the hungry, hurting and homeless of Greater Vancouver through: Emergency meals and clothing, Shelter for those without resources, Pastoral and chaplain services, Proven drug and alcohol recovery, Innovative learning center and Community outreach.
