POSITION TITLE:
CLIENT SUPPORT WORKER
TENURE:  ON-CALL/Rotating Shift Work/Part-time/Temporary SALARY:
Starting hourly rate: $10.18 Per Hour/Bi-weekly

 Job Summary:

Report to the Residence Director. The position of Client Support Worker is responsible for the supervision and support of Clients. The Client Support Worker participates in client activities. There is transportation of clients for numerous outings. Client support staff provide 1st aid. This position consists of rotating work shifts (days, evening, nights and weekends).

 Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

• Successful Completion of Grade 12
• Valid Class 4, Driver’s License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
• Be 2 years abstinence from Alcohol and Drugs
• Knowledge of addictions & recovery
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• Basic computer skills, i.e. email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
• Ability to safely lift 25 pounds and healthy
• Aboriginal Health Worker Certificate or 2 years equivalent experience in a Residential Treatment setting
• Knowledge and understanding of First Nations customs & traditions
• Successful candidates must provide a Criminal Records Check
