CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Bellwood’s rich history stems from the pioneering and innovative treatment models created by founder, Dr. Gordon Bell.  Bellwood’s accredited programs for alcohol and drug addiction, eating disorders, and other behavioural health problems, deliver quality care to clients, and stand on a reputation of excellence.    We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and strategic thinker to join our dynamic team, in the important role of Clinical Director. 

As a senior leader, you have the energy for this vital role, are innovative, and able to implement leading edge ideas.  The successful candidate will report directly to the President and CEO and lead a highly skilled and experienced inter-disciplinary clinical team. As Clinical Director, you will uphold Bellwood’s high quality standards by ensuring effective quality assurance and communication processes are instituted and maintained.  You will work closely with managers to oversee the administrative and clinical aspects of programs and services, as well as related budgets. Your leadership and involvement in strategic planning will be an integral part of the role. 

You have held senior level management positions within the addiction or mental health field, and have a comprehensive knowledge of addiction, and addiction treatment.  You have a proven track record of successful achievement and are comfortable working for both private and public sector organizations.  Demonstrated strengths in the areas of team building, communication, organization and planning, are essential for the role.  Preference will be given to qualified candidates who have held the position of Clinical Director, Director of Nursing, or Senior Manager, with a recognized addiction facility or hospital.
