We are a Spiritually-Based Treatment Center that integrates the 12 Steps as a Life Management System while providing the safety and intensity of a small “Closed Group” (12 clients maximum).

What makes the “Closed Group” model so effective?

Chatsworth Pavilion provides a unique and powerful “Closed Group” program dedicated to providing the most effective treatment program through encouraging and supporting each group of clients to start and finish their residential treatment at the same time.  This model also allows the therapeutic team at Chatsworth Pavilion to design a sequenced flow of content and schedules resulting in non-interrupted focus and continued group cohesiveness.

The Journey of Recovery

We believe recovery is a process, not an event.  It was the event or "now" concept that helped get us in trouble in the first place. We often needed to “fix” something and we wanted it now.  At Chatsworth Pavilion the process of recovery is designed to help each client reclaim their inner compass and move from reaction to right action.  Here we develop new patience, learn to process before acting and accept the new gift of clarity in each circumstance.

Recovery is about “doing life” in a healthy way and “being well”.  It is about conquering our fears both old and new, mastering our inadequacies, new healthy communication in our relationships and nurturing our “inner strength of being”.  Recovery is about learning to continually access our authentic self and allowing it to be expressed freely and wisely.  It is empowering our inner guidance system and allowing it to direct our choices of actions and needs.

Confidentiality

We live in a time of social contradictions. While our clients should feel proud of the decision they make to better themselves by overcoming their self-defeating dependencies and addictions, they must be careful of where and how they choose to share that information. Unfortunately social biases still run strong and too often a paper trail offering evidence that treatment was sought and undertaken can cause unforeseen problems.

Welcome to Heritage Home – “Your home away from home”

Heritage Home is a confidential, specialized residential rehab center in Quebec providing addiction treatment programs in a serene environment, away from the temptations of city life. Taking a holistic approach, we address the whole of the person: mind, body, and spirit.

At the Heritage Home Drug Rehab & Alcohol Addiction Treatment Center, we treat a full spectrum of addictions, from alcohol, drugs, prescription medications, cocaine, heroin, and more.

Our Residence

Heritage Home addiction treatment center is located in Huntingdon, Quebec, a few miles from the US-Canadian border. Heritage Home offers safe, peaceful, and relaxing country living, away from all the temptations of city life, with the amenities of a five-star hotel.

While staying with us at Heritage Home, you will be given a private room and bath. We encourage you to personalize your room, as you like. Heritage Home, for the next little while, will be your home away from home, and we want you to be as comfortable as possible.

Our Aftercare Program

While you may be leaving us, it doesn’t mean the end our relationship. Our entire dedicated staff remains available to you after you’ve left the Heritage Home grounds.  As we believe in recovery as a journey, upon graduation, with approval we will connect each client with a counsellor in their home town for continued direction and support.

We also encourage you to keep in touch, updating us on your progress. In times of special need we want you to reach out and call. Often times, the very sound of a familiar voice can mean the difference between your sobriety and falling back into your addiction.

In addition

Family counseling is available upon request—although highly suggested. An inclusive recovery process is a more successful recovery, resulting in sobriety that is more easily maintained outside of treatment. Family counselling fosters mutual understanding between participants, empathy, healthy coping mechanisms within the unit, and, ultimately, healing.

28 and 42 day programs

Our programs are designed to begin with an initial detox period if required which varies depending on the type of addiction.  Primary treatment is based on the foundation of 12 step programming which addresses the ongoing medical and psychological concerns that are often associated with early recovery.
Every program is individually customized and flexible to meet your needs, ensuring you meet your goals.

2nd stage

The 2nd stage of your program will continue with the 12 step programming as well as focus on relapse, co-dependency and trauma.

After care

After care is of ultimate importance for transitioning back to mainstream life. Continuing with the 12 step program to assist in prevention of relapse, enhance coping skills, and problem solving skills necessary for day-to-day recovery.
