A Complete list of Treatment Facilities!

Long-Term Community Rehabilitation

We serve British Columbians who suffer from problems stemming from substance abuse with a strong personal motivation to recover from their addictions. Typically these individuals have experienced serious setbacks in life such as physical/sexual/ emotional abuse, social stigma or mental illness before becoming addicted. These traumas must be addressed concurrently with the addiction to achieve successful treatment outcomes.

We provide priority access to those individuals who have demonstrated a strong desire to rehabilitate but have so far been unsuccessful in traditional treatment methods. At the heart of our program we believe that people can be successfully treated through a supported abstinence model. Applicants must acknowledge their own dependency and voluntarily apply for the program. We welcome motivated applicants regardless of their social status or ability to make a financial contribution to Baldy Hughes Therapeutic Community.

“Discover a New Direction"

Crossroads offers effective, life-changing programs supported by the Best Practices in treating Concurrent Disorders, Addictions and Mental Health.

Residential Treatment Program:

We offer a twenty-eight day intensive, residential program for men and women. The core components of this program are group therapy and psycho-educational workshops.  The first days of treatment are spent in an orientation group.  This group is designed to orientate clients to the treatment experience, answer questions, familiarize clients with the facility and generally make them feel comfortable and supported.  When clients are ready, they are moved into small therapy groups for the duration of their treatment.

The Recovery Process:

We do recognize that the recovery process looks different for everyone.  Our goal is to meet the client where they are at on the road to recovery and provide the tools that they need to move further along this continuum.

Men & Women:

The Men’s Treatment Centre and Women’s Treatment Centre are located in separate facilities and the programs are tailored to address the specific issues relevant to men and women. We also accept clients currently on the Methadone program.

Public & Private payment:

We are pleased to offer both public and private pay programs for both residential treatment and detox services.

Resurrection House for Men
Glory House for Women

Welcome to Resurrection House for men and Glory House for women, two Christian based recovery facilities of the "Hope for Freedom Society".

Our facilities provide a safe and caring drug, alcohol and violence free environment. In this setting, addicts and alcoholics can begin the process of recovery from their addictions. Clients are able to address the effects and behaviours of previous abusive lifestyles, as well as work towards becoming responsible, productive members of society. It is our belief that, given the tools and the help of God, any addict can overcome the disease of addiction if they so choose.

Facilities are staffed by dedicated, full time, professionally trained counsellors and facilitators, together with a staff of volunteers and resource people in related fields. We provide daily access to structured treatment, with group, and one-on-one counselling for addiction and related problems, drug and alcohol education, life skills courses in communication, Spiritual direction, and motivation are also provided.

Based on the Biblical principles embodied in the Twelve Steps of Narcotics Anonymous (N.A.), the building of viable support systems as alternatives to previous living and social environments is an important part of our structure. Our focus is not only helping the addict "get clean", but also "stay clean".

“Often the longest journey one takes
Is from the head to the heart!”

Welcome to InnerVisions Recovery Society, a family of safe, structured treatment facilities serving both men and women with locations in Maple Ridge, Pt Coquitlam and Coquitlam, BC. If you are a person whose life has become unmanageable and you need some friendly, definite, clear direction to address the disease of addiction, InnerVisions is the place for you.

For over 20 years, InnerVisions has provided first class treatment services in licensed and accredited facilities. Our statistical data indicates that on average, our fee for treatment is 35% less, our services can be accessed 80% faster, and 80% of our clients complete treatment.

InnerVisions offers a proven environment of recovery created and operated by people who themselves have conquered their demons of addiction from alcohol and drugs; all of our staff are in recovery themselves. We openly admit our Program is highly structured, and when a person is coming into InnerVisions they need to know we are rigorous to the application of our program standards. We also know that if you have a problem with alcohol and drugs, we have a proven solution: you can RECOVER!

Men’s Program

InnerVisions currently operates 2 separate men’s facilities with the capacity to treat 46 men at any one time. The men’s program, identical to the women’s, is a highly organized and thorough 12 step program. While getting clean and sober is the ultimate goal, our facilitators promote self exploration for clients through step work and one-on-one case management. Upon entering treatment, clients are immediately put under the care of our in-house addiction doctor and are monitored throughout their stay. Our ultimate goal is to provide clients with the necessary tools to free themselves of the vicious cycle of addiction and to reintegrate into society as a productive member.

Women’s Program

InnerVisions has operated Hannah House as the residential women’s treatment centre for over 10 years. 2012 marks a great transition for the women of InnerVisions recovery, as we are set to add a brand new 17 bed facility that will compliment the current 21 bed facility operating as Hannah house. This new addition will increase our capacity to treat women who are in dire need of recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. Hannah house is a safe, secure location for women in need of drug and alcohol treatment to reside and discover a new, clean and sober way of living.

Aftercare and Second Stage Housing

While the residential treatment process for clients may end after 60 days, their involvement with InnerVisions does not have to stop there. At InnerVisions, we strive to aide clients in their transition back into life. We help them to identify any additional barriers and help direct them to the appropriate services they may need. In addition, we offer those seeking employment a job finding facility that offers clients the appropriate resources to find gainful employment. InnerVisions also offers second stage housing to those clients who qualify. Our second stage housing offers clients more independent living than the treatment centre, but keeps them surrounded by others in recovery, and keeps them involved in the recovery community, as they go back to work and life.

Family Program

At InnerVisions we realize that alcohol and drug addiction not only affects the individual involved, but the entire family unit. We have developed a program that we offer to family members that gives them knowledge into the disease of addiction. Often, a client’s transition back into the family can prove a difficult one for both parties. Our program introduces the family to the 12 step program, teaches conflict resolution techniques, communication skills, and anger management strategies, which we know aides in the transition process of the client back to the family. This program also offers a therapeutic benefit, in that, family members are able to speak with other clients’ families about their common experiences and concerns.

3 Houses for Men Only

Located in Surrey, BC the Society is committed to operating residential recovery homes which will enable people suffering from the diseases of alcoholism and drug addiction to turn their despair into hope and healing.
Our structured, supportive environment facilitates the mental, emotional, and spiritual development of residents through a twelve-step program of recovery.

Our purpose is to provide a respectful environment for alcoholics and drug addicts who seek to recover. Founded on the idea that recovery does not happen "all alone", we offer our residents an opportunity to take the first difficult steps of recovery with other like-minded individuals by providing an alcohol and drug-free residential environment. For many residents, this is their first adult contact with a drug and alcohol-free way of living.
The participation of all clients in a 12 step program is the foundation. The contacts we provide with community resources help our residents assume their rightful place in society once they've left The Realistic Success Recovery Society.

For Men only - Vancouver, BC

Together We Can Society (TWC) has emerged in the last decade as one of British Columbia’s leading residential treatment programs for men challenged by drug and/or alcohol addiction.
Located in Vancouver, clients live as a part of a supportive residential community where they participate in group therapy and an integrated treatment program. Our goal is to help clients discover new and healthy beliefs which are the foundation for recovery.
The first stage residential program accommodates 42 males aged 19 years or older, who share five comfortable homes in a quiet residential neighbourhood.

Clean & Sober aftercare living:

TWC’s second stage recovery homes facilitate a successful integration into society for men who are ready to go back to school or return to the work force.  We support three second stage homes – most within walking distance of our main office and first stage program facilities.

Under the supervision of a TWC staff member, our transitional homes provide a safe, abstinence-based environment for graduating clients.  Residents can reintegrate into their communities from a place of consistent support and at the same time access a variety of TWC resources.  In return, they must adhere to simple rules and continue to attend 12 step program meetings.  Residents of the second stage homes also contribute to their room and board.

We impose no set limit on the length of participation in our second stage program.  Recognizing that recovery is an ongoing process, we urge clients to stay as long as they feel is necessary.

Alcohol & Drug Recovery Programs

These effective, live-in recovery programs offer men and women freedom from addictive lifestyles and the tools to live a clean life after graduation. UGM counsellors have developed and fine-tuned a six-month program that gives residents their best chance to succeed. Our women’s recovery program at Lydia Home focuses specifically on women’s issues in recovery and offers women a safe and caring environment in which to heal.
