At Kathleen Landry and Associates, an intervention is the loving process into a troubled person's life to help motivate them to change and seek help. It is a process that begins long before the troubled person is even spoken to and continues long after the person seeks help. It involves the caring support of the troubled person's closest friends, family and business associates. It is a process that brings the person's "bottom up" rather than waiting for the person to "sink to the bottom" You can reach Kathleen at: Phone: 604-924-0042 |
| | Healing the broken-hearted At Bountyfull, we commit ourselves to a journey with people who have come to realize they are powerless and are ready and willing to seek help. At the core of this approach are the "Bountyfull Principles for Living" which focus on feelings and unconditional self-acceptance.
In an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding, the counsellor walks with the individual through their life story, where the hidden roots of pain and brokenness are unearthed. Individuals often begin to recognize various forms of dependancy to which they have given over their power, in an attempt to 'feel better'. The dependency may be on drugs, gambling, food, alcohol, rage, sex, relationships, counsellors .... the list goes on.

Aftercare Services
Maintaining a long-term, healthy recovery is an on-going process that requires support both within the family and from the community at large. Women Into Healing provides supportive Aftercare programs for all of our clients to ensure that their recovery is a positive and lifelong process.
Our Values
• Treat the whole person, as well as the illness. • Treat every person with dignity and respect. • Continue a commitment to the Twelve Step fellowship. • Be of service.
Spirituality and Faith We are strong believers that spirituality must become a capstone of full recovery with each client. Real healing must start on the inside. We also wish to be of service to all those who suffer regardless of faith, place of worship or none at all, trusting in God’s presence. Therefore we do not wish to come across as a "Religious" centre, encouraging each person to discover their own private intimacy with God. Significant Differences An important part of our program encourages and allows Sunday worship at the client's choice of nearby church or otherwise. We also encourage individual pastoral visits, special mentorships and times of prayer together. Aftercare is a very important part of our overall program which starts long before the client graduates. As a part of aftercare we prepare each client for life back in the world which includes connecting with persons and families of similar faith as part of new living and relapse prevention. “We are a full-service treatment centre for women and their families seeking freedom from addiction.”

| | Be BOLD ...Be STRONG Jos 1:9
We currently have four men’s recovery houses in and around the city of Abbotsford, B.C. Each home is able to accommodate up to 10 men. The room and board costs for each man is $550.00 per month. Everything is included with exception of personal hygiene items such as razors, toothbrushes, combs, shaving cream, deodorant etc. . The "Junior House" is the intake house. This is mainly where we are "hands on". Men come to us from various stages of their recovery. Some come directly from the streets - they are detoxing. Some come from other "recovery houses". Some are court-ordered to our homes and some come from other treatment centers. There is a time of assessment to see how they are doing and what they want. They usually stay at this home for up to 60 days (some longer - case by case basis). The "Middle House" is just that. These men are either in part-time studies in school or working part-time. They are pretty grounded in their programs and have a support team in place; they are now members of a Church. Their stay here is dependant on a few things. They may stay as long as they would like as long as they are doing well as far as their participation in their program is concerned while in residence. However, they may not work full-time from this house. If they want to do this, they must move to the senior house. All work is subject to approval, by Leadership, and based on participation and attitude. The "Senior House" is the full-time working or schooling house. They are learning independent living while being dependant on God. Their stay is however long they need to. Phone: 778-241-1599 or 604-556-7390 Email: joshuahouse@shaw.ca

 | "The Spiritual Way Back" Since 1964, Calvary Addiction Recovery Center has been a leader in Christian addiction treatment and recovery. That same approach has proven effective with other faiths and those seeking a traditional 12-step program.
The Calvary program addresses the practical, physical and spiritual aspects of addiction and problem gambling, setting the stage for long-term recovery and restored family life.
Successful recovery includes spiritual recovery
Treatment
Calvary believes that a successful recovery program must include spiritual recovery and encourages each client to renew his or her relationship with God. The program incorporates two tracks: a Christ-centered track and a traditional 12-step track. Time for devotions, meditation and Bible study is offered each day, and Christian principles are integrated into the lectures and therapy sessions.
Residential Care
Residential care provides a structured environment that allows the client to focus on various behavioural and emotional issues that need to be resolved, and guides the client as they begin to break the cycle of substance abuse or problem gambling and take responsibility for their new life of recovery. They will also learn to identify underlying core issues such as co-dependency, anger, shame and grief.
There truly is hope for alcoholics, drug abusers and problem gamblers and we can help you take the first step. Call us and ask about Calvary Addiction Recovery Center at (602) 279-1468 or (866) 76-SOBER (76237).
