Set in a lush tropical paradise on the banks of the River Kwai, Channah offers you a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) programme unlike anything available elsewhere in the world, and tailored to your needs. Most rehabilitation programmes require a commitment of 12 weeks or more and it may not be practical to take that long out of your life to attend a rehab programme, especially if you have a demanding career or children. Also you may not want your problems to become common knowledge. We offer a discreet, and shorter, alternative. The complete Channah programme is 28 days that is operated to British treatment standards. This is the minimum time we recommend. However we will accept clients for a shorter period.
Accommodation is provided in individual wooden bungalows, discretely sited amongst the landscaped gardens. All bungalows offer large en-suite shower rooms, TV, DVD, air-conditioning and fridge. Many of the bungalows have a large private veranda. There are no shared rooms.
Our setting is beautiful and calming. It may look like a luxury resort but it is an intensive treatment programme. It is tough. But only where it matters.
Couples:
We will accept couples. We can also accommodate partners who do not require treatment. We can offer them a programme of massage, Body Renew, Personal training and full use of the facilities. They can also accompany their partners on excursions. Parents with children:
We have access to qualified nursery nurses and are fully equipped for day and night care if necessary, mothers with infants or toddlers can be accepted into the programme. Aftercare:
When you return home you will still have a full three month aftercare package to support you in those crucial early days.
Security:
No record of your treatment on file with your government, insurance company, employer, school, etc. Unless you tell someone, no one will ever know about your treatment from us. If you are a high profile individual in your country it is very unlikely you will be recognized here. Extra security measures are available to ensure your anonymity.

The Journey of Recovery
We believe recovery is a process, not an event. It was the event or "now" concept that helped get us in trouble in the first place. We often needed to “fix” something and we wanted it now. At Chatsworth Pavilion the process of recovery is designed to help each client reclaim their inner compass and move from reaction to right action. Here we develop new patience, learn to process before acting and accept the new gift of clarity in each circumstance.
Recovery is about “doing life” in a healthy way and “being well”. It is about conquering our fears both old and new, mastering our inadequacies, new healthy communication in our relationships and nurturing our “inner strength of being”. Recovery is about learning to continually access our authentic self and allowing it to be expressed freely and wisely. We live in a time of social contradictions. While our clients should feel proud of the decision they make to better themselves by overcoming their self-defeating dependencies and addictions, they must be careful of where and how they choose to share that information. Residential Treatment Program:
We offer a twenty-eight day intensive, residential program for men and women. The core components of this program are group therapy and psycho-educational workshops. The first days of treatment are spent in an orientation group. This group is designed to orientate clients to the treatment experience, answer questions, familiarize clients with the facility and generally make them feel comfortable and supported. When clients are ready, they are moved into small therapy groups for the duration of their treatment.
The Recovery Process:
We do recognize that the recovery process looks different for everyone. Our goal is to meet the client where they are at on the road to recovery and provide the tools that they need to move further along this continuum.
Men & Women:
The Men’s Treatment Centre and Women’s Treatment Centre are located in separate facilities and the programs are tailored to address the specific issues relevant to men and women. We also accept clients currently on the Methadone program.

While staying with us at Heritage Home, you will be given a private room and bath. We encourage you to personalize your room, as you like. Heritage Home, for the next little while, will be your home away from home, and we want you to be as comfortable as possible.
Our Aftercare Program
While you may be leaving us, it doesn’t mean the end our relationship. Our entire dedicated staff remains available to you after you’ve left the Heritage Home grounds. As we believe in recovery as a journey, upon graduation, with approval we will connect each client with a counsellor in their home town for continued direction and support.
We also encourage you to keep in touch, updating us on your progress. In times of special need we want you to reach out and call. Often times, the very sound of a familiar voice can mean the difference between your sobriety and falling back into your addiction.

Family counseling is available upon request—although highly suggested. An inclusive recovery process is a more successful recovery, resulting in sobriety that is more easily maintained outside of treatment. Family counselling fosters mutual understanding between participants, empathy, healthy coping mechanisms within the unit, and, ultimately, healing.

Tranquil Waters is an upscale, private residential program that is exclusively for women located at Rosedale BC (near Chilliwack). Statistics have shown that many women who fall into addiction do so because of some type of trauma, and may use drugs, alcohol or process addictions as a means of self-medication.
We believe that in order to fully recover from addiction, these women need a facility in which they feel comfortable and supported. Our personal experiences with addiction recovery indicate that women in all female programs have a better opportunity to succeed compared to when they attend a co-ed program.
