|  | Co-ed Health + Fitness Centre “Find your balance” is the theme and goal at the YWCA and membership does not require a contract! The Health + Fitness Centre, offers an all-inclusive membership and you do not have to pay extra to take Yoga or other fitness classes. All the classes on our studio and pool drop-in schedule are included in your membership. Non-members are welcome to use the facility with a drop in charge. (A great way to check it out!)

|  | FITNESS THAT KICKS! Women’s Fitness Circuit The “30 Minute Hit” is a high intensity action packed Boxing/Kickboxing circuit workout designed just for women. Fast paced, challenging and empowering, this one of a kind workout appeals to all levels of fitness in a friendly, non-intimidating, exciting environment. In just 30 minutes you will sweat, learn, burn and smile your way to results you never thought possible! The "30 Minute Hit"; was created to accommodate the busy lives of modern day women. This exhilarating and challenging circuit consists of techniques taken from boxing, kickboxing, general self defence, and core stability training. Research and experience has proven that boxing/kickboxing is one of the most effective cardiovascular workouts. It has also been shown that 30 minutes of exercise 3 times per week is enough to decrease the chance of various health risks including heart disease and high cholesterol. Each of 13 stations lasts for a 2 minute interval and when the ladies are not hitting the bags, they are working hard with the Swiss balls and Medicine balls. Interval training is an excellent way to burn fat as well! Don't worry if you have never boxed before or if you are new to core work.
