Accommodations

The Bethlehem Retreat Centre has many features that render it the ideal setting for you and/or your group to enjoy. Situated in a wooded acreage in Nanaimo, Bethlehem looks out over Westwood Lake against the backdrop of Mt. Benson. There is a well-groomed path around the lake, swimming for those who like a morning dip, and trails up Mt. Benson for the more adventurous.

Thirty-five guest rooms are located in four settings at the Centre. There is also a chapel, library, and a garden labyrinth that hosts one of the few Peace Poles on Vancouver Island.

Nourishing the body/soul by sharing a meal is an essential part of any gathering at the Centre with food thoughtfully prepared by our culinary staff.

Large and small conference rooms are available for group retreats or workshops.

You can book a Personal Retreat for any days of the week (space permitting, so book early!). All our facilities and drop-in classes are included in your retreat fee.

Our meeting and conference rooms and are the perfect setting for your educational workshop, planning meeting or renewal event. Reiki

At Queenswood, Reiki is taught from the Christian perspective, but open to all traditions. Our Reiki programs take participants through an experiential journey of healing, where people become more open to being channels through which God’s healing flows. Reiki brings one into the holistic journey of healing, addressing physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual healing. It’s a gift for healing one’s self as well as others.
